With all the bullets flying around, it just feels a little too slow.
Maybe it's fine, but I know it's definitely not as fun this way.
The fanservice from Cirno, Suwako, and some of the new skills and stuff from the cast?
Disgusting... Flight itself is kinda horrible. People can dodge all day long by 8D.
Well, strings are pretty powerful, and there still is some degree of mind games.
Strings too powerful that you might have to BE? That's no way to deal with pressure.
On the other hand, I guess BEs can be punished.
High level play has lots of people trying to force BE (at least in SWR).
But other than that stupid corner pressure that you can just BE out of, the game is bland.
It's like, you're flying around, shooting stuff, trying to hit some other thing that's doing the same thing.
SWR and 12.3 can barely be called fighting games.
If you call it a true fighting game, you might as well call Mystical Chain a fighting game (with platforms and stuff).
I'm not saying Mystical Chain is bad, but it's obvious it's not a fighting game.
